About Student Connect Program (SCP)

The purpose of “Student Connect Program (SCP)” of the Sharda Group of Institutions (Agra-Mathura Campuses) is to provide the much needed guidance to young students of higher secondary schools (of 10th to 12th classes), who will be transiting into higher professional education segment.

Young students of this age group need a lot of guidance and mentorship (and so do parents) to rationally and logically decide, on how to proceed further, which occupations or vocation to choose,which will be the best option for their future. Most of the young students are unaware as to what has aptitude, personality, interest, intellectual level got to do with future career options, how to evaluate and facilitate the student and parents, is not an easily available information nor is there an easy tool to assess where does he/she stands in relation to the competition on a wider level. Further which occupations are likely to provide him the best future prospects and returns, is another area of confusion. Career counselling is not readily available (especially in tier 2 and tier 3 cities and villages) and such important career decisions are,therefore, taken based mostly on social perception (that is the view of relatives and friends of the family ) absolutely inconsiderate of the talent, interest, aptitude and personality of the student. In order to fill this gap, we provide the complete package of guidance in this regard through our portal based services on “career counselling” absolutely free as part of the “Student Connect Program (SCP)” of the Sharda Group.

Further, the extended objective is, to “ Engage Students” and make them aware about the correct methodology of learning , so as to be able to gain fundamental knowledge of the subjects with clarity and width, and be able to recall and apply it, as and when needed in life and career. We thus conduct the competitive Science Quiz Fest called "The Sharda Science Olympiad (SSO)".This website will provide you with more relevant information on both these activities of our SCP program.
